Background/Educations: I'm a clinic coding specialist in the Health Information Management department. Before this role I was an Optician/Manager/Third Key Holder for 5+ years, where I sold over $350,000 in eyeglass sales for the past 2 years and earned 6 customer service awards. This past fall (2017) I completed the internship at FirstLight Health System in Mora. I have an Associates of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology. I achieved this degree online at Minnesota State Community and Technical College of Moorhead in December of 2017.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I am excited about meeting and working with new people. I am excited to learn and use my knowledge to help in the Coding Department. I am eager to learn the new ICD changes, EPIC, and how the real world of coding works.

What are your hobbies?: I like to go shopping with my girls, go out to eat, and enjoy a Minnesota Wild game at the Excel Energy Center. I like to collect Minnesota Wild memorabilias, scrapbooking, puzzles, reading, playing board games, and playing cards.
