GROWTH/Hospital Board Update- Randy Ulseth
- Troy updated the Board on Outpatient Services and the changes that have occurred during the past 11 months in the Clinic.
- Pine City Pharmacy update – waiting on contracts
- Pine City expansion update – reviewing final layouts/additions, September is the targeted goal to start ground breaking.
- Marketing director update – using a recruiter and interviews are being scheduled.
- Team Care update
- Employee forums were well attended
- PC Advisory committee – first meeting scheduled for mid-July
FINANCE – Ella Stenstrom
- Ella presented information on the May financials. Volumes are better, net income a little less than budgeted.
QUALITY – Ellen Ryan
- Ellen reviewed Quantros and offered a tip sheet. She discussed departments signing in, oversights and attachments.
- Patient Safety Culture survey – 47% of employee have completed it, managers are to encourage completion by 7/10/14.
PEOPLE – Kim Carlson
- Discussion on M-files workflow/employee access/changes/terminations. Becky Gallik will work on a process to help with M-files.
- Employee and Provider engagement surveys will be sent out on October 6th.
- Discussed email signatures – Kim is working with Becky on instructions and they will be sent out to the managers and supervisors.
EVIDENCE BASED LEADERSHIP-Randy Ulseth
- Discussion was held the video “It’s Who’s on Your Bus That Matters”.
OTHER
- COLA inspection went well.
- PC safety camp was held on 6/24- very successful.
- Rehab has been conducting interviews.
- Downtime scheduled for 7/13 – network changes.
- Phone upgrade early August – only affects contact center.
- IT is looking at holding lunch and learns on various topics. If you have an idea for a topic, submit it to Becky Gallik.
- Reminder, Training room is to be used for training vs. meeting space.
- Sports physicals – Mora, July 8, Pine City, July 17th – $15 starting at 5:30 for walk-ins.
