Hospital Board Update
- Randy gave an Allina update – discussed timeline for purchase, transition and tasks that will need to be completed.
- 2009 CEO goals were reviewed
- Presented an update on the Ambulance management contract.
Financial Update/Gordy Forbort’
- Gordy presented the financials for June. Inpatient and outpatient visits were up, with ED on budget.
Quality Update/Ellen Ryan
- Ellen presented a summary of the patient safety culture survey. She gave an overview of the positive responses and opportunities to improve the safety culture. Overall, very good results.
Human Resources/Kim Carlson
- Kim presented an overview of the Employee Partnership survey that has been mailed to employees. Organizational data will be collected for use in department goal development and department action plans.
COO Update/Chris Kimbler
- Chris updated managers on the Green Initiative program. Discussion on goals/objectives that are being developed through energy management, purchasing and management of waste.
- Reminder to staff that HR needs to know of any students who may be doing job shadowing, internships or residency.
Other:
- Rose Ryan attended her last Department manager meeting. She will begin retirement in August – and we wish her well as she encounters another chapter in life. Good Luck.
