Background/Educations: I am from East Bethel, MN. I did PSEO classes in High School and got my AA degree at Anoka Ramsey Community College. I got my Bachelor's at the University of St. Thomas, and I currently attend the U of M College of Pharmacy on the Duluth campus.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I really want to work in a rural area as a pharmacist. So I am excited to learn about how FirstLight serves their patients and community.

What are your hobbies?: I love anything outside, including hunting and fishing. When the weather is bad, I like reading and playing with my dog.

Background/Educations: I was born in Brazil, moved to Chicago when I was 10 years old, and now I live in Minneapolis for pharmacy school. I currently attend the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

What are your hobbies?: I enjoy hosting tea parties, working out, sightseeing, and I collect movie tickets from movies that I have seen.

Background/Educations: Currently attending University of MN College of Pharmacy - 4th year student. B.A. Biology, Society and Environment - University of Minnesota. Originally from Green Bay, WI but not a packer fan! I have a 5 month old French Bulldog puppy named Marganx.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? Understanding pharmacy's role in the healthcare team in rural areas will be key to helping me learn to meet my patients' needs. I'm also looking forward to getting to know the staff at the hospital.

What are your hobbies?: Playing with my dog, spending time with friends and family, working out, biking, running, lifting weights, cooking and baking, reading (both for fun and education).

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? It seems to be a clean and friendly work environment, and is very close to my home.

What are your hobbies?: I breed and show Olde English Bulldogges. I am also an avid motorcyclist and fisherman.

Background/Educations: I got my EMT my senior year of high school and started working for Moose Lake ambulance before I graduated. Shortly after I finished high school I moved closer to the cities to be able to attend paramedic school shortly. I also work for Allina based out of Moundsview. I'm looking forward to meeting everybody here at FirstLight.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I'm excited about gaining more experience and meeting new people and being out of the cities.

What are your hobbies?: I enjoy being outdoors the most. I like to go bow hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and target shooting. I also enjoy rock climbing and scuba diving in the keys - night dives are my favorite. I also like reading, watching scary movies and cuddling with my puppy.

Background/Educations: I graduated with my PharmD from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2015, and recently completed an ambulatory care residency here at FirstLight.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I grew up in Ogilvie so I am very excited to be back and working in my "hometown". FLHS has been a great place to work in my past experiences and I'm happy to be back.

Background/Educations: I went to the Milaca Public Schools from 2nd - 12th grade. In 1983 I began my career as a RCNA in nursing homes and hospitals. In 1993-1995 I attended school at Anoka Hennepin Tech College/Anoka Ramsey in the health care field as an OTA. In 1995-2003 I worked in the OR in sterilization processing tech at Unity Hospital Fridley. 2003-2014 I stayed home with 2 girls Jenna 12 and Giuliana 11 and husband C.J.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I enjoy working with people, being around others and helping others when needed. This will be a smaller facility and I felt it's a perfect fit for me. I am excited to be part of FirstLight Health System.

What are your hobbies?: Movies. If I had more time I would do water aerobics and work out at a fitness center. Craft shows in Little Falls/Rice Minnesota, travel/road trips, and being with friends and hanging out.

Position: Anesthesia Student

Background/Educations: I am currently attending the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia. I have been an RN for the past 10 years and have worked on a medical/surgical unit and a cardiac ICU.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I am most excited about gaining experience with regional anesthesia techniques (e.g. performing spinals, epidurals).
