Before this role I was an Optician/Manager/Third Key Holder for 5+ years, where I sold over $350,000 in eyeglass sales for the past 2 years and earned 6 customer service awards. This past fall (2017) I completed the internship at FirstLight Health System in Mora. I have an Associates of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology. I achieved this degree online at Minnesota State Community and Technical College of Moorhead in December of 2017.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I am excited about meeting and working with new people. I am excited to learn and use my knowledge to help in the Coding Department. I am eager to learn the new ICD changes, EPIC, and how the real world of coding works.

What are your hobbies?: I like to go shopping with my girls, go out to eat, and enjoy a Minnesota Wild game at the Excel Energy Center. I like to collect Minnesota Wild memorabilias, scrapbooking, puzzles, reading, playing board games, and playing cards.

I have worked in the pharmaceutical world for almost 9 years, fell in love with ultrasound when I was pregnant with my daughter and it pushed me into sonography. My daughter is now 5 years old.

What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I am excited to put my education to real world situations and be able to help others. Looking forward to learning more at hand, for different situations and have the personal interactions with others.

What are your hobbies?: Loving playing sports usually play baseball and soccer when I have time. Going to the park with my daughter. We love food so we are always trying new places. In the summer we are always at the cabin relaxing or doing water sports.
