Reason for Recognition? I spoke with a patient today who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She has some scary and important decisions to make and didn't feel like she'd been given enough information to make these decisions and feel confident about them. She has not seen Dr. Yeh yet but is scheduled to. Even without ever meeting this patient, Dr. Yeh called her at home at 9pm and spoke with her for 45 min. Because of this phone call the patient feels confident about the decisions she needs to make. She stated that Dr. Yeh went way above and beyond and she is so very appreciative that he has eased her mind!

Reason for Recognition? Thank you so much for all your hard work and extra time that you have put in due to Pine City Urgency Services opening up. It is very much appreciated and I couldn't have done it without all of you! Thank you again!

Reason for Recognition? Several community members came up to me at the East Central football game on Friday night with compliments for Lisa S, our athletic trainer. I was told that the sports teams are very grateful to have her expertise so easily accessible and that it has been a huge asset to the school!

Reason for Recognition? I just wanted to say thank you for showing me the ropes (clinic scheduling) that will help prepare me for the Urgency Services! Thanks a lot ladies!!

Reason for Recognition? For working so hard and putting in extra hours to help get Pine City ready!

Reason for Recognition? For jumping on the phones and helping me out without being asked this morning when I was overwhelmed with incoming calls!! Very much appreciated by me and by the patients who were on hold!

Reason for Recognition? I just had a patient tell me about an unfortunate experience at a nearby health care facility. He said he had been a patient there for a while, but whenever he would go in, he felt like his health didn't matter. Long story short, he ended up coming to FirstLight and said everyone here is so caring, helpful, and always has a smile on their face. He also mentioned how thankful he is for our staff and won't go anywhere else for his care.

Reason for Recognition? A current patient of physical therapy in Pine City stopped at the front desk to let us know she is very pleased with her service at FirstLight. She said she has worked with the public for many years and the employees at FirstLight are very friendly.

Reason for Recognition? Alicen is always willing to help out when we are trying to get a patient in somewhere and will go the extra mile to make sure that patient gets in as soon as possible. It reassures the patients and really helps staff out. Thank you for all you do.

Reason for Recognition? Being so pleasant and willing to help whenever I have questions. You are like a walking phone book whenever I forget Google is a resource and it amazes me! Thank you so much!
