Your body is an important tool needed to do your job well.
- DON’T risk an injury when it is not needed
- Remember it is ok to “speak up” if you are asked to do an unsafe transfer
- Check the algorithms located in the Patient Handling Plan if you are unsure about using the equipment. Patient handling equipment is there to help you and your patients
- One last thing, don’t forget to complete your annual education.
