Background/Education: I started working in the healthcare field when I was 19 years old. I worked at Unity Hospital in the Emergency Department as a patient care associate for approx. 5 years. When I was 24, I decided I'd like to be an ED Tech, so I went to Anoka Tech to get my CNA degree. Working with some amazing nurses and doctors for many years, a friend/coworker of mine encouraged me to go back to school for Nursing. So we attended together, and I graduated with my Registered Nurse associate's degree in 2014. I left Unity after 16 years and started working at Cambridge Medical Center. There I've worked in several departments ED, CCRN & Periop/PACU.
What are you excited about working at Welia Health? I'm excited to start my new journey working for Welia Health and being part of a team that is providing care to our rural communities.
