FINANCIAL UPDATE – Josh Asp

  • November was a solid month – net income ahead of budget.
  • Josh reviewed 2017 budget.

BEHAVIORS OF EXCELLENCE UPDATE – Garrett Estenson

  • Garrett provided an update on the dissolution of the BOE committee and transition to Starlight Committee
  • BOE will be posted on the intranet, it will be part of education in orientation of new employees, used in applause cards, rounding, SWANK education and employee’s annual review.

HUMAN RESOURCE UPDATE – Kim Carlson

  • AIDET Ace has been rolled out – discussion on the process to receive tokens.
  • Working on 2017 Goals in the LEM –
  • Halogen update – staff should be making updates to his/her 2016 goals
  • Celeritime – launching January 9. There are two additional training dates, contact Michelle Volk if you would like to attend.
  • Discussion on annual increases for non-union employee

QUALITY UPDATE – Ellen Ryan

  • Discussion on the importance of the employee illness forms being filled out. Need consistency from all staff use the forms.  A refresher/reminder will be sent out.
  • The 2017 Policy and Procedure schedule has been updated. Departments will be notified the month they are to review policies. Forms are to be reviewed in the public            

ROUND TABLE:

  • Ronda Jannett is retiring the end of December – Anna Schultz will take over her responsibilities
  • Wound Clinic will be coordinated out of the Rehab Services starting January 9th.
  • 2017 FLHS calendars will be available in the next week.
  • A phone directory for the organization is being developed.
  • Community Service calendar has been sent out – many opportunities available to volunteer for.
  • Employee banquet – January 21st –Grand Casino Hinckley
  • Bike Helmet promotion – will be coming out in May
  • Reach Out and Read promotion will be coming out In February
  • January 4th – Year-end inventory count, materials will be closed except for emergent supplies.
  • Physician recruitment update
  • OB committee working on “Baby Friendly” program
  • STABLE class is being offered
